I recognised it...thought I'd avoid being too clever...
It's Friday night, and we have a TARDIS.
I'm no expert on The Tubes, White Punks on Dope is probably where you need to start, but I do like this one:
No idea if they still perform it! It's more New Wave than rawk.
Someone I used to know renamed himself Rick Quay after The Tubes lead singer .. he was in a band called Rhythm Damage (from Tamworth) .. I could go on but I won't, he was old when I knew him so he's probably dead now .. here's some UB40 instead ..
Listening to this in the heat with the rain in the background:
at the risk of being political.
feel free to hang draw and quarter me in the presence of the queen if this isn't allowed.
In memory of Fr John Ball, Spiritual Leader of The Peasants Revolt. Martyred 15 July 1381.
Sk8 or die ,, some strobe lights used warning **
They need to get a singer who can do a proper death metal growl without effects and post-production--she sounds rubbish.
If we're swimming in those waters:
Or to get a little more funky:
Personally, I'm here:
I used to have the Carcass album with all the rotting body parts on the front cover, I think it was called Discanting the Insulubrious or something equally weird .. :hbang:
The band members were medical students when younger and a lot of their titles originate from technical jargon about decay, anatomy and infection.
She looks hot an' all, but who's doing the actual singing?
Yep, you are not wrong ... and they rocked ... those pictures were taken from medical books by them also.
edit: it looks like that original album cover has been banned from youtube ..
further edit: here it is !
.. this was only available to buy in a brown paper bag at the time I bought it ..
Yeah, I noticed that bit as well .. not her by the sound of it ....
This should wake everyone up a bit ..
Now what's Luna doing?
Don't listen to this unless you're an American girl about to be kidnapped by Buffalo Bill from Silence Of The Lambs ...
Somehow....I thought this would fit considering the recent banned thread.....
I'm putting some Clash songs together for a friend and was reminded of this by Eddy Grant. Great song covered by The Clash.
How long has it been, twelve years?
Well! here is a game I just invented, it is called "Find Buddy Ebsen".
The object of the game is to find Buddy Ebsen:
Ebsen, are you in there?
Is he hiding here?
Buddy Ebsen, appear!
Where the heck is Buddy?
12 years...? Buddy Ebsen...?
Separate names with a comma.
