I buy sports socks in bulk from Sports Direct. Usually Nike or Slazenger, the 'half cushion' style with the towelling effect underneath. You can have just black or assorted colours and they last well and are really comfy.
I'm walking around all day at work in Para boots and the sports socks and my feet are in perfect condition.
You have to change them every day for the best use as they soak up the old foot-sweat but they're not dear. I've had some for years.

They also do brilliant trainer socks. Don't buy running socks though as they are too padded and your shoes won't fit.

The following Universal Monster Movie Box sets - Frankenstein, Dracula, Wolfman, The Mummy - each box set contains six or eight of the Universal Studios classic Monster movie series from the 1930's, 1940's and 1950's. If I am not heard from in a while, it's because I am binge viewing quality movies!

    is everything!
After being really torn over whether to buy a PS4 or not, regular readers will know that I went for it a couple of months ago. And then yesterday this happened:

I went mental and bought the VR headset and camera. And all I can say is WOW! It is wicked. OK - some of the demos I've tried look blocky and quite "back to basics" (think NES) but some of them are just mind blowing. It's my birthday soon so I justified the purchase with my wife as it being my birthday present.

If you haven't tried it yet you're all welcome round my house tonight for a go. Bring crisps and cider.

I'm currently collecting the free Lego cards from my Sainsburys shopping trips with a view to making them into a Lego tarot pack.
The glittery ones, like a monkey, panda and double decker bus can serve as the Major Arcana and the rest like the Hippie, Leprechaun, Rapper, Medusa, Hula Dancer etc should suffice to predict even the most unlikely modern events.
Unfortunately I seem to be getting a lot or swapsies. The Carpenter seems to be turning up a lot in each pack. I think that's probably Jesus.
