What did we see? Go to the link above.
The cast of an ammonite in a mediaeval bridge?
A mediaeval church with a beautiful rood screen?
The ammonite is not part of the mediaeval bridge.
Can you define what the tunnel is?
The rood screen is from 1600's I believe.
Are you going to name names or do we have to guess?
I'm interested in the church--it looks familiar.
So...where is it?
Ah, I see it's part of the tunnel
No idea? I think I saw something similar as part of the ruined castle at Berwick-upon-Tweed...
Interesting, it looks pretty gothic
I've never been, but I'm going to take a punt: it's Rosslyn Chapel, and the "tunnel" is the remnants of the second building to bear that name.
FYI googling 'Ammonite passage' yields 1 Chronicles 20: 'Joab destroys the Ammonites'. Is that why they went extinct?
I've never read the bible the whole way through, do they also have 'Nebuchadnezzar wipes the floor with the Plesiosaurs'?
Praise the Lord and pass the ammonition!
